No time for love, Doctor Jones! I'm in the slog of my NaNoWriMo, past the point where it is fun & in the doldrums where I hate it. I just look at it & see what I wish it was. I need to push through it. The big idea at this point is that I'm developing a story bible for the eventual project it will become; this is just brainstorming via novel writing, right? I'm happy with bits, & miserable about others, & I'm forgetting the cardinal rule of NaNoWriMo-- forward momentum. I need to suck it up & let's rock. Meanwhile, America's Next Top Model was gold; everyone came over to watch two episodes in a row, & that was a lot of fun. Anne! Team Anne; I can't believe she powered through to the final two. Otherwise, it has been nice with occasional clouds; Jenny hasn't been in the best of moods, but fordmadoxfraud brought her flowers last night! & brought fatbutts & elladorian flowers too. Cures for the blues! David also brought me comic books-- Batman! Guys, Batman! He's fighting the Idea of Crime with the Idea of Batman! Grant Morrison is my co-pilot. Anyhow, I really liked Batman, Inc. number one, & Thanos Imperative six of six. Good work, comic book guys! The rest of comicdom might be acting a fool, but there are some real gems out there. & the various Return of Bruce Wayne & Batman Returns titles, too, or whatever they were called. Batman! He's a worthly Beast-man Enkidu for Gilgamesh Superman.
