the biggest problem with the lady in the water is that it is somehow PG-13. i mean, it was not distant from its roots as a bed-time story, & i think its major audiance demographic should have been families. this is a good scary movie for children, & a good bit of fabricated mythology for adults. sadly, there isn't nearly enough spooky stories for kids any more- coddle, coddle. & once again m. night's movies continue to makie the paladin a player class with a lot of viability; cleveland heap & lucius hunt are a-okay in my book. after the film we went over to peter's for some drinks, me & jamesy, & bernie, & mike, & of course peter & alicia. while there we watched shogun assassin & a real horrorshow for the kiddies, return to oz. oh, ozma.
